Clinical Trials Navigation Survey

The ACS National Breast Cancer Roundtable (ACS NBCRT) has launched the Clinical Trials Navigation Survey, and we would greatly appreciate your help both completing and sharing the survey with appropriate colleagues and partner networks.

This survey is focused on understanding how organizations support clinical trial access, screening, matching, referral, recruitment, navigation, retention, and related patient support functions across the cancer continuum. Although ACS NBCRT is leading this effort, the survey is not limited to breast cancer. We are seeking input from professionals and organizations working across all cancer types.

Survey fielding window: September 1–October 2, 2026
Estimated time to complete: 15–20 minutes

Complete the Survey

Please complete the survey if you or your organization can speak to any aspect of clinical trial access, screening, matching, referral, recruitment, navigation, retention, research coordination, or patient support.

Relevant respondents may include:

Oncology clinicians, including medical oncologists, surgeons, advanced practice providers, and other providers
Clinical research coordinators, research nurses, and clinical trials office/research office staff
Patient navigators, nurse navigators, community patient navigators, and community health workers
Social workers, access coordinators, referral coordinators, and supportive care staff
Program administrators, cancer center leaders, research office leaders, or health system leaders
Advocacy, community, or partner organizations involved in clinical trial education, access, referral, or patient support

If more than one person in your organization has a relevant perspective, it is appropriate for multiple people to complete the survey. For example, a clinical research coordinator, navigator, oncology clinician, and administrator may each provide different and useful perspectives.

Please share the survey with individuals, teams, or networks that reach professionals involved in clinical trials or related patient support. This may include:

Clinical trials offices or research offices

Cancer centers and health systems

Navigation programs and navigator networks

Oncology service lines, tumor boards, and cancer committees

Professional societies, coalitions, listservs, and working groups

Community or advocacy partners involved in clinical trial education, referral, recruitment, or support
